Fall Clinics


Dates: October 8, 2016 or November 14, 2016

This Maryland Softball Camp will provide the best instruction for campers of all skill levels in a fun-filled and competitive environment. The emphasis will be on individual skill development as well as learning hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching drills and techniques used at the collegiate level. Campers will be placed with others of similar age and skill level and will be coached accordingly.

Session 1 Recruiting 101 Seminar #1: An inside look at college recruiting

This seminar will be a classroom setting with power point slides provided.
Topics covered: Basic rules of recruiting for all collegiate levels, how to start your recruiting process and important things to know, the unofficial and official visit, the involvement of travel and high school coaches, the parent's role vs. the athlete's role, and a questions and answer session.
This seminar targets athletes from 7th grade and up who want to play college softball, parents of athletes, and travel and high school coaches.

Cost - $20


Session 2 Hitting Clinic

Focus on the fundamentals and mechanics of hitting. It will also cover drills that will develop power and consistency in your swing.

Cost - $60


Session 3 Defense and Pitching Clinic

This session you can choose to work defense or pitching.
--MUST BRING OWN CATCHER IF DOING PITCHING SESSION--
Defense:
Focus on fundamentals and proper techniques used on defense. The emphasis will be on individual development for the infield, outfield, and catching.
Pitching:
Work on the mechanics of pitching, establishing a change up, and drills to help increase speed.

THESE MARYLAND SOFTBALL CLINICS WILL PROVIDE THE BEST INSTRUCTION FOR CAMPERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS IN A FUN-FILLED AND COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT.
